This project involved the design of the corporate identity of Camerata, Musical Orchestra of Megaron the Athens Concert Hall. Our task was to create a modern identity to represent the new profile of Camerata and at the same time to express its Greek origin. We used simple lines and forms to describe meanings like music, rhythm, orchestra, and sound. We kept clear white spaces combined only with two colours blue and black to communicate a Greek identity. We also used sans-serif legible type to achieve a modern image but combined it with small serif elements to imply the Orchestra’s history and prestige. We accompanied the whole identity with black & white artworks of musical scenes to communicate the artistic profile of the orchestra.

This project concerns a nursery school, called ‘Paidiki Politeia’. We were asked to re-design the corporate identity by maintaining their existing logo as it is. We decided to design a series of animals that would be also used in the extended identity of the school like banners, leaflets, brochures etc. The designs we created have clear minimal forms with strong colours to be easily understood by the kids.

Our task was to design a corporate identity for an e-shop with organic fair trade products. This e-shop, with mainly products for babies and young children targeted to parents with ecological perception, environmental values and beliefs. Our approach on the logo and the visual identity was to create something that would look eco-friendly and child-like. At the same time, ensure the parents about the company’s reliability concerning the products for their children. We decided to make the logo look like a child’s hand writingplaced in a Helvetica font. The papers used for the identity were recycled. The concept was accompanied by child-like illustrations that sometimes carried specific environmental motos.
The website was designed at the same guidelines with the visual identity. A neat and clear environment was created to make e-shopping a pleasant experience.

Description: In this project we were asked to design the corporate identity for some luxury residencies ‘Spitia’ (home in greek) in Ia (a small village) in Santorini. The aim was to design something ‘warm’ and homely yet luxurious and modern. We designed a basil pot for the logo as this is a very common element in most of the houses in Santoroni. The pattern of the little curved and square shapes gives us an abstract impression of Santorini. The variety of blue, green colours combined with the large white spaces of the textured white paper create a strong visual cycladic effect.

Description: Identity design for the corporate presentation of Alpha Private banking and its services. This included the design of folders for various uses and presentation templates. The grey colour in combination with the silver lettering of the logo and the fine quality of the paper creates an environment that implies strength, security and luxury which were vital objectives for this task. The legible typography and the spacious white areas also create a pleasant and secure environment for the target group of the bank.

Description: Corporate identity for Perivolaki a greek centre for mental health services for kids with autism and psychosis. The logo itself describes a little tree that could have been drawn by a kid with these special needs as they tend to draw repetitive circled lines. We have used bright green colours to create a pleasant environment full of optimism so that we communicate more the way to ‘mental health’ rather than the problem itself. The combination of the two fonts (the rounded and the normal one) at the whole identity combines a joyful yet serious environment that implies trust and security to the people concerned.
Client: Greek Centre for mental health and therapy of kids and their families.

Description: This corporate identity included the redesign of a literatute series for kids and teenagers. We were asked to redesign the four logos as well as the whole identity of the series so that the new design would accomodate all the potential book covers at each time. We deliberately kept the old colours only made them clearer and more solid so that the young readers could easily identify the books. For the front cover we only kept one element-the logo which could be placed either upwards or downwards at the right of the page according to the needs of each cover. At the back we used the big circle to arrange neatly all the information and possible images at one place. The design of letterhead, envelope, folder and bookmarks were also part of this identity at the same guideline as the rest of the items.
